Chef Bisola Fsquare
Founder, Head Chef and Keeper of the Family Pot
Chef Bisola began by cooking for neighbours and weekend guests in Lagos, where her pepper soup, smoky jollof rice and slow-simmered stews quickly became the meals everyone asked for again. What started as a home kitchen filled with laughter, big pots and handwritten recipes slowly turned into a dream she could carry beyond Nigeria.
After moving to the UK, she began hosting intimate supper nights for African families, curious food lovers and homesick students who wanted the comfort of real Nigerian flavour. That same warmth now lives in the restaurant, where every plate is built to feel generous, familiar and full of celebration.
"I wanted our guests in the UK to taste food that feels like home, even if home is many miles away."
